Colorado Wildlife via Instagram

Instagram is a photo sharing app for mobile phones. It's rising in popularity these days and we'd like to highlight our favorite ones of Colorado wildlife.

This photo is from the user katebrogan and features a Colorado mule deer. Why is it a mule deer? The antler pattern, the bigger ears, the darker coat and brow line are all signs of a mule deer. To see the difference watch our video "Whitetail vs. Mule Deer."

Are you an Instagram user? Would you like to have your photo featured on our web page? Use #coloradowildlife to tag your photo and we'll discover it in our selection process.
