In Colorado, an over-the-counter bull tag allows you to hunt anywhere in 92 units. Season dates include two weekends. 

See a map of bull or either-sex elk units  offering over-the-counter licenses available during the 2nd and 3rd rifle season and the Plains rifle season.

Archery GMU maps for over-the-counter antlerless elk archery licenses , over-the-counter either-sex elk archery licenses , and over-the-counter either-sex pronghorn archery licenses  are available for hunters. 

General over-the-counter (OTC) big game and turkey licenses are available for purchase by internet, telephone (1-800-244-5613), license agents and Wildlife Service Centers.

A 2012 brochure will be mailed to you if you applied for big game in 2011, hunted big game in 2011 and/or were a non-resident and applied in 2010 (but didn’t hunt or apply in 2011).

If you did not hunt big game last year, Colorado residents are asked to print pages from the online version, and/or pick them up at Colorado Parks and Wildlife offices and license agents throughout the state.

Nonresidents, don’t wait for Colorado Parks and Wildlife to send you the brochures you’re looking for! The brochures and information can be viewed in an electronic format. Or if you do need a hard copy, either download or print portions of the brochure you want or the entire brochure itself. 

If you really do want us to send you a brochure, we’ll be glad to do so. Simply provide the requested information on the online form, and we will send you the brochure or application you need. If you are unable to print the brochure or have problems with the online form, please call (303) 297-1192 and request that a brochure be mailed to you.                       g&s bg
