Contact the Colorado Parks and Wildlife Commision.The Parks and Wildlife Commission is currently comprised of members of the State Parks Board and the Wildlife Commission and is a combination of the two boards as they existed when Parks and Wildlife were in separate divisions. Over the coming months, the Parks and Wildlife Commission will develop a proposal for their size and composition.
 
The former Parks Board members represent the North, West, South, and Metro regions, with one member-at-large (Regions Map). The former Wildlife Commission members represent districts (District Boundaries Map).
Tim Glenn, Chairman
Wildlife District: 4      Represents: Public At-large

Tim GlennTim Glenn is a native of Colorado and a pioneer family of Chaffee County dating back to 1898. He owns and operates Fairview Cemetery and Lewis & Glenn Funeral Home in Salida and is Vice Chairman of the Board of High Country Bank.

Glenn serves on the Arkansas Basin Roundtable, Colorado Water for the 21st Century. He is a landowner participant in the Poncha Pass Working Group Gunnision Sage Grouse Recovery Project. He serves on numerous local, regional and state boards and committees and recently served as the Chairman of the Board of Chaffee County Commissioners. He is avid outdoor enthusiast.

Gary Butterworth, Vice Chairman


Parks Region: Southern

Gary ButterworthGary Butterworth is a Vice President at El Pomar Foundation, where he directs the El Pomar Fellowship, a post-undergraduate leadership development program, serves as a grants officer, and oversees operations of the Penrose House Nonprofit Conference Center.  Mr. Butterworth earned his undergraduate degree from Yale University and an MBA from the University of Denver.  He is also a board member of Colorado Springs Youth Sports, Inc., the Colorado Springs World Arena, and the Air Force Academy Foundation.

Mark Smith, Secretary

Wildlife District: 2      Represents: Agriculture/Produce Grower

Mark Smith, Wildlife CommisionerMark Smith, of Center, is manager of the Meadow Ranch where he was actively involved in preserving 5,000 acres of wetlands. He has over 30 years experience in farm and ranch management with 26 years in the San Luis Valley. Being a member of Ducks Unlimited, Rocky Mountain Elk, Rocky Mountain Bighorn Society, and the National Rifle Association confirms his enthusiasm for hunting. Mark has served on many local and state committees including the Habitat Partnership Program, the Habitat Stamp Committee, and the Public Education Advisory Council. In 2007 Mark was chosen as Landowner of the Year by the Colorado Division of Wildlife. He was appointed by Governor Ritter to represent the agriculture/produce growers group.

David Brougham


Wildlife District: 5      Represents: Public At-Large


David Brougham respresents the Public At-Large.David R. Brougham is an attorney based in Denver, primarily involved in defending public entities and officials. He is a lifelong hunter and fisherman and was appointed by Governor Ritter to represent the public at-large. Mr. Brougham earned his undergraduate degree from Western State College in Gunnison and his law degree from the University of Colorado in Boulder. As a military officer he was a naval aviator and is a Vietnam veteran. In addition, he was a chief deputy district attorney in both the Second and Fourteenth Judicial Districts and a member of the Colorado District Attorney's Council. Mr. Brougham is a member of numerous associations, including Pheasants Forever, Ducks Unlimited and the American College of Trial Lawyers.
