Mandatory boat inspection sign
Mandatory Boat Inspections in Effect
Boaters are reminded that inspections for aquatic nuisance species are mandatory at most boatable waters in the state, including state parks and state wildlife areas. Inspection and decontamination stations are available at more than 85 locations.

Planning ahead and going to a permanent station to receive the green inspection seal before reaching the water saves time and reduces delays.

For a current list of inspection stations, how-to videos and more extensive information, see Mandatory Boat Inspections. Resources for boaters in state park waters can be viewed on the Parks website.
