Media inquiries
to the Colorado Division of Wildlife are routed to Public Information Specialists, who are assigned to specific geographic areas of the state. Public Information Specialists work with reporters to provide timely and accurate information. Whether serving as a spokesperson on an issue or coordinating contact with a subject matter expert within the Division, the job of Public Information Specialists is to educate the public through working with the media. The DOW believes that the more the public understands its wildlife, the more the public will be able to enjoy it and protect it for future generations.
