You do not need to ask permission to use images from the Division of Wildlife's Image Database for non-commercial purposes. This includes using them with a press release, for educational purposes, or publishing them on another Web site. However, it is requested that you credit the photographer listed. If there isn't one, please credit the Colorado Division of Wildlife. Any other use, including any commercial use, requires the express written permission of the person holding the copyright to the photograph.
If you need a high-quality image that is not available in the database, please contact us, and we will try to obtain one, if possible.
