Media Contacts

Whether you're looking for an expert in outdoor recreation and wildlife issues or you're in need of an official comment about an agency action, Colorado Parks and Wildlife has a network of knowledgeable and available public information officers available to assist members of the media and members of the public in finding the right source and the right information.

CPW uses a regional system to provide local and timely response to public issues around the state. This includes having four regional public information officers as well as a statewide public information officer. See a map of our regions .

Media seeking comment on regional parks and wildlife issues (events in a state park, wildlife encounters, wildlife sightings, etc.) should contact the regional PIO listed below:

  • Jennifer Churchill
Northeast Region, including the Denver metro area, Ft. Collins, Estes Park, Sterling and Brush

  • Michael Seraphin

If you are unsure of which regional PIO to contact, unable to reach a regional PIO or if your story concerns a statewide issue (agency policy, Parks and Wildlife Commission, endangered species, aquatic nuisance species, etc.), please contact the statewide public information officer:

    303-291-7482 (direct line)
