GMUG

Since the GMUG National Forests are in the final stages of revision, the Individual Inventoried Roadless Areas were summarized.  Following are summary statements/ recommendations and individual inventoried roadless area recommendations.  These “Field Recommendations” are submitted by Northwest and Southwest Region district and area wildlife managers and the terrestrial, aquatic and species conservation wildlife biologists.

San Juan

Since the San Juan National Forest is in final stages of revision, the Individual Inventoried Roadless Areas were summarized.  Following is a summary of “Field Recommendations” from Southwest Region district and area wildlife managers and the terrestrial, aquatic and species conservation wildlife biologists.

Pike / San Isabel

Since the Pike / San Isabel Nation Forest Plan is not schedule for revision completion until approximately 2009, 211 Individual Inventoried Roadless Areas were analyzed for wildlife values consistent with the federal requirements.  Field Recommendations from Northeast and Southeast Region  district and area wildlife managers and the terrestrial, aquatic and species conservation wildlife biologists have been received and are on the CD in this section.  Also available for the Colorado Inventoried Roadless Area Taskforce in paper format.

Arapaho-Roosevelt

The Arapaho-Roosevelt National Forest Plan Revision was completed in November 1997. For this petitioning process, 40 Individual Inventoried Roadless Areas were analyzed for wildlife values consistent with the federal requirements. Field recommendations from Northeast and Northwest Region district and area wildlife managers and the terrestrial, aquatic and species conservation wildlife biologists are included within this section of the document.
