NEW April Season Opened:
The Colorado Parks and Wildlife Commission recently established an April mountain lion season, which ran April 1-30 beginning this year. Hunters are required to obtain a new mountain lion hunting license for the 2013-2014 seasons in order to hunt during the April season. A hunter may only harvest one lion during 2013-2014 lion seasons, including from April 1-30, 2013 and from Nov. 18, 2013-March 31, 2014. 2012 -2013 Fees


For individuals over 18 through 64, a $10 Habitat Stamp is required with the first license purchase for the year (April 1 - March 31).  For more information, read about the Habitat Stamp. If you are disabled, you may not need a Habitat Stamp. See disability information.

Fees include a .25 cent search & rescue fee, and a .75 cent PEAC charge.
$10 Habitat Stamp will be added to 1st license purchase of the year (April 1 to March 31).
