The archery range consists of 12 bale targets with distances ranging from 10 to 80 yards. Two small shade shelters with picnic tables are also available. Range rules: No broadheads—use field or target tips only; No shooting after sunset; Shoot only from designated positions; Shoot only towards designated targets; Do not shoot towards or harass wildlife; Do not move towards target until all archers have finished shooting; Children under 16 must be supervised by an adult; Users may bring their own targets to the range, however, they need to place them in front of existing targets.

Open to the public 9am-4pm on the first weekend of every month April through August, and on every weekend during September and October. Supervised firing on 25 yard range, 50 yard range, and 100 yard range, all covered. Fees: $10 per shooter ($10 per rifle for sight-in during September and October), no fee for those under 18 years of age if accompanied by paying adult. Fee includes sight in targets, use of benches, sand bags, spotting scopes, and assistance from range officers.

The Camp Fickes Shooting Range is located in the Pike National Forest near Lake Wellington, southeast of Bailey. It provides a long range for rifle with distances of 200, 300 and 600 yards, and a short range for rifle and handgun with distances of 7 yards, and 50, 25, 50 and 100 yards. Camp Fickes is the home of the Buffalo Creek Gun Club and is open to the public between April and October from 9am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Access the range from the east (Lehigh and Parker Rd.) and west (Dayton and Union) entrances to Cherry Creek State Park. Pistol and small bore rifle range, 50 and 100 yard rifle ranges, shotgun--automatic (ATA) and hand (Pedestal) trap; patterning range, hunter sight-in welcome. Limited rifle sight-in services and scope mounting, bore sighting. Classes and private instruction for beginning pistol, rifle and shotgun, firearms safety, and competition. NRA marksmanship programs. ATA registered shoots and informal shotgun leagues. Firearms rentals and instruction for the novice shooter. Ranges are fully supervised with NRA-certified instructors and certified range officers. All firearms must be in gun cases to enter the facility.

Members only; associate membership dues $55/year and family membership dues $80/year. Both memberships also have a $125 one-time initiation fee. Pistol range up to 50 yards, turning targets at 25 yards. Smallbore rifle range at 50 and 100 yards. High power rifle ranges from 100 to 1000 yards. 10 station sporting clays, silhouette rifle and pistol range from 40 to 500 meters. Directions: The range is north and east of Byers, one mile west of Rector-Leader Road (Rd 52N) on Road 96.
Columbine Bowmen 12 1/2 miles west of Sedalia on CO 67 720/308-3828 or 720/331-0609 The 30-acre forested site boasts two trail courses as well as a practice range. The two trail courses offer 14 targets each on varying topography at ranges from 10 to 80 yards. The central practice range is situated on level ground and offers targets at 5-yard intervals from 10 to 80 yards. The ranges are open to the public daily from sunrise to sunset. A pedestrian gate offers constant walk-in access. Vehicle access is available some weekends from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Directions: Columbine Bowmen Archery Range is located 12 1/2 miles west of Sedalia on State Highway 67. Turn right at brown ‘Archery Range’ sign between West Douglas Fire Station #1 and the cabins at Moon Ridge, and follow the brown ‘Archery Signs’ all the way up to the range.

Directions: Go eight miles east of DIA on I-70, then take the Watkins /Front Range Airport exit, then south three miles on Watkins Road. The club is on the west side of the road. From Parker, take E-470 north, exit Quincy Avenue and go six miles east. Turn left (north) onto Watkins Road and proceed 3.2 miles to the club on the west side of the road.

WHAC is a family-orientated, members-only club and range located just east of Barr Lake. We have rifle ranges out to 500 yards.  We also offer separate pistol and archery ranges and a one-station clay's range.  Membership is $200 annually with a one time $75 registration fee. Call for directions to the range. No entry allowed except for members and escorted visitors.
