Growing Up WILD

In this four-hour workshop, you will explore the award-winning early-childhood curriculum from Project WILD. Growing Up WILD workshops feature fun, hands-on activities and ideas for infusing nature and wildlife into your activities with kids, between the ages of 3 to 7, in school, in groups or at home.

Archery in the Schools Workshop

The National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) is an international-style archery curriculum that teaches physical education teachers how to incorporate archery into their classes.

Flying WILD: Teacher Workshop

Rocky Mountain Bird Observatory Environmental Learning Center - Brighton

Flying WILD curriculum is thematic, standards-based, and full of interactive activities for students of all ages. You will have the opportunity to try these activities and learn how to lead your students on a bird walk.

WILD about Nature: Fun Kid-Friendly Activities for Outdoor Professionals

YMCA of the Rockies, Estes Park, CO

Workshop participants will get up close and personal with the Project WILD curriculum through a variety of fun indoor and outdoor activities. They’ll also leave the workshop with Project WILD tools and resources so they can begin implementing the curriculum within their own outdoor programs.

Cost: $30 for members, $35 for non-members

Basic Archery Instructor Workshop

The National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) is an international-style archery curriculum that teaches physical education teachers how to incorporate archery into their classes.

Cost: Free for P.E. teachers, $40 for other educators

The Colorado Division of Wildlife is the state agency responsible for protecting and managing wildlife and its habitat, as well as providing wildlife-related recreation. The Division is funded by hunting and fishing license fees, federal grants, and Colorado Lottery proceeds through Great Outdoors Colorado.
