Sharpen your senses to the sights and sounds of nature! Discover where, when, and how to watch wildlife responsibly; learn how to choose and use binoculars; learn how to use a range map and field guide; interpret wildlife habitats and signs on a workshop nature walk. Wildlife Watch workshops are jam-packed with dynamic presentations, hands-on activities, and practical demonstrations—capped by a guided, group nature walk where you'll try out your newly acquired viewing skills! Content is applicable to Life Science Standard 3.

Project WILD: A Globeology Adventure

Educator's will immerse themselves in a variety of ecosystems around the globe in The Wildlife Experience's blockbuster exhibit, Globeology, while obtaining access to the renowned standards-based Project Wild curriculum. Participants will experience a variety of inquiry learning activities utilizing the amazingly lifelike depictions of eight interactive world biomes.

Fall, Spring, & Summer Sessions: Advanced Project WILD Correspondence Course.

This correspondence course arrangement affords the students to personalize their professional development by extending their understanding and use of Project WILD. They will explore the sites and resources of the metropolitan (or any community) area, for wildlife and nature education. Previous completion of a basic Project WILD workshop is preferred. Time: as a correspondence course, independent study exceeds 15 hours. Cost: $82.00 [CSM registration + $15.00 (postage and handling)].
