Fishing Clinics
Teaching kids and families to fish

Fishing fun for a family at Lake Lehow, Littleton, in 2006.Our family fishing clinics see more than 20,000 Coloradoans each year. Colorado Parks and Wildlife hosts, sponsors or contributes to fishing clinics that provide opportunities for kids and their families to learn to fish and manage our aquatic resources.

Many community groups, civic organizations and local government agencies offer 'learn to fish' opportunities.

Find contact information for your local recreation centers, community centers and parks departments. Other possibilities include fishing groups, such as Trout Unlimited, Colorado BASS Federation, Colorado Walleye Association and Muskies, Inc., or local sporting goods stores--many hold learn-to-fish clinics and are great sources for fishing club information.
