Wildlife Watch Workshops

Hunter Education & Outreach

Photo © CDOW.In a Hunter Education course, students learn about firearms and ammunition, firearm safety, shooting fundamentals, firearm and wildlife laws, hunter responsibility, wildlife identification and management, survival, and much more. Though required of anyone wishing to hunt in Colorado, a Hunter Education course also offers a lot to those who have no wish to hunt.

Women Afield

Fishing Clinics

Youth Activities

Explore the possibilities in the Angler Education Program, Youth Hunting programs, and Aquatic Education (see how fish are raised), or join in on the work of River Watch. And, Hunter Education courses, especially for youth, are offered through the year.
