The Division of Wildlife (DOW) is pleased to announce the opening of the application process for the Landowner of the Year Award. The program recognizes outstanding contributions made by private landowners in providing habitat and/or public access to Colorado’s Wildlife on private lands. Winners are selected annually by a judging team comprised of members from the Colorado Wildlife Commission and the Board of Agriculture.
Nominations are due to the DOW by November 20, 2009. Please take the time to nominate a deserving landowner (pdf) who has gone above and beyond in their agricultural practices to benefit wildlife. See Landowner Recognition Program for more information.
